About Me

I was born and raised in Hong Kong, and received most of my primary and all of my secondary education from Discovery College. While I was in high school, I represented Hong Kong in the International Math Olympiad (2018), International Olympiad of Metropolises (2018) and International Junior Science Olympiad (2015).

I took the Mathematical Tripos at Magdalene College, University of Cambridge as a Prince Philip Scholar where I received a Bachelors of Art and Masters of Mathematics in 2022. While in Cambridge I served as the External Secretary of the Archimedeans from 2021-2022.

I'm currently a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, working under the supervision of Professor Minhyong Kim. During the 2023-2024 academic year I am also one of the organisers of Hodge Club, which is the postgraduate Algebra and Geometry seminar at Edinburgh.

When I am not doing math you might find me playing chess, singing, dancing, bouldering, crocheting, or attending plays and musicals.
